Worry

When something not so good happens, we tend to worry about it. We all know worrying doesn’t really make the situation any better but we still do it. It’s like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere. Often when we speak out about our worries, we will be told thousands of times not to worry about it and that everything will turn out fine. You will then go and try your best to convince yourself to believe that will be the case, but really you still have your doubts at the back of your mind. So what can you do – just hope, wait and see I guess. And in the meantime, to lessen the burden of the people you care for around you, you will even try to put on a face so that they won’t concern about you. It’s a tough task to be worried isn’t it?

Consider taking this approach and attack it by thinking worry only gives a small thing a big shadow and by this time next year, you will only laugh at the waste of sleepless nights a year ago. Personally, I’d like to think that there is no use worrying about things which you have no control over, and if you have control, you can do something about them instead of worrying.

I totally agree. You know there's no point of worrying but you just can't help it. My way to solve this problem is to really think thoroughly, think all the best and worst outcome, and just simply anticipate. Hope for the best and expect the worst. It wastes time but your mind cannot be settled if the problem is still there in your mind.
