Satorare mystery

A number of people have asked me what or who the hell is Satorare. Satorare is one of the very few Japanese series that I have watched and really liked. Satorare (or roughly translated as "Transparent" in English) is a story about a guy named Kenichi with a goal of becoming a doctor. However, Kenichi is not an average medical student, nor an average human being for that matter. He is a genius and the seventh member of Japan's most exclusive satorare group that has the ability to transmit their innermost thoughts to anyone or anything within a ten-meter radius. Unfortunately, Kenichi does not have the ability to "pick and choose" what thoughts he wants to transmit and those around him have to listen whether they want to or not. In short, being around a satorare like Kenichi may be a bit of a problem because you may hear something you wish you hadn't.

We have ‘partial’ satorare around us day in day out. Every now and then, there are people that tend to speak their own minds about certain things without really thinking about the consequences. Unfortunately for these people, they are sometimes thought of being inconsiderate and insensitive. I, on the other hand, think that as long as they are not offending anybody with their comments, they are brave and truthful. Brave enough to stand by what they think and let people know about it; truthful enough so that they don’t have to remember what they said the last time. Is it really so bad to have these people amongst us?
